Trump Family"You're Fired!" Or at least "fired up" about the newest luxury hotel and residential project to open in fast growing Panama. The Ocean Club International Hotel & Tower is the handiwork of showman, TV star, and real estate developer Donald Trump, and when it opens this spring, the new 70-storey high rise will be the first international venture for the Trump Hotel Collection and the largest hotel ever built in Latin America. Besides 369 condo hotel rooms, similar to the rooms comprising the flagship Trump International Hotel in New York City, this $400 million project includes an additional 630 purely residential condominiums...truly the best of paradise.

Panama: city by nightInterest in Panama, the bridge between North and South America, has been booming as of late, and this project is positioned to take advantage of that interest, both for leisure and business buyers. The Ocean Club is located in the exclusive Punta Pacifica area of Panama City, overlooking Panama Bay, a central location just ten minutes from the International Banking center, three minutes from world class shopping and nightlife, two minutes from the new Punta Pacifica Hospital (affiliated with John Hopkins), and fifteen minutes from the airport, which in turn is just two and a half hours from Miami or five and half from New York City. International luxury living and so close to the US.

Bells & Whistles
A self-contained luxury real estate community, the tower was deliberately designed as a "haven," featuring a large wellness spa, oversized infinity pool and outdoor sun deck, upscale boutiques and shops, multiple restaurants, a state-of-the-art business center, even a casino, along with a full hotel-style array of concierge services, valet parking, and bellmen for guests and owners. Outside the skyscraper walls, the property includes a yacht club and beach club on a private island.

Expect the Unexpected
Because many Americans are unfamiliar with Panama, a big focus of the project will be on helping visitors and residents discover the area's charms, and to this end, the Ocean Club employs a large staff of "Trump Attachés," serving as local liaisons, arranging excursions to cultural and sites, places of spectacular natural beauty and cosmopolitan energy. "There is much to discover in Panama, and the insights of our Trump Attachés will be a priceless resource for guests and residents, providing them with entrée to the country's most unique and exclusive experiences," said Mark Stevenson, general manager of Trump Ocean Club. These include trips to visit indigenous jungle tribes, offshore islands, UNESCO Nature preserves, National Parks and Bird Sanctuaries, as well as golf and sportfishing excursions, and of course, visits to the Panama Canal.

Trump Ocean Club InteriorThe building was done by international architect Arias Serna Saravia, and has been designed to appeal to a sophisticated international clientele, with a modern urban look and feel. Every residence has a private balcony with Pacific views, commercial-style stainless steel appliances, granite counters, custom cabinetry and frameless walk-in showers. Along with the many in-house facilities and extensive staff, the residences are positioned to offer an easy, turnkey second-home buying experience. Miami-based furniture designer Adriana Hoyos was commissioned to create three interior packages that make units ready to go, soup to nuts, including linens, glassware, cookware, even the art on the walls. Studios start in the low $400,000s; 1-bedrooms in the low $500,000s; 2-bedrooms in the low $700,000s; and 3-bedrooms just over $1 million. www.trumpoceanclub.com
